San Diego or Bust

This past weekend the hubby and I headed down to San Diego to celebrate our six years of wedded bliss. We had the best time! It's always nice to spend a little kid-free one-on-one time together. We stayed two nights at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. Our room was beautiful and we had an awesome view. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

The weather was perfect the whole weekend.  Especially coming from 113 degree heat! Our first evening was spent at our favorite San Diego spot, Rockin' Baja.  We had dinner and a few drinks there.

 

After that we headed to a local dive bar (my favorite kind) to watch the fights.  Once the sun went down, we changed into our fancy clothes and went out dancing at Altitude Sky Lounge.

On Sunday we slept in and spent the afternoon browsing shops and lounging by the pool.  Our last evening was spent strolling through Gaslamp and discovering new places.  San Diego might just be my new favorite place! I had the best anniversary weekend! Here's to another six sixty years!
