Four Years

Alannah,
It is so crazy that you turn FOUR today! This year of your life went by way too fast.  It went by quick, but we had a lot of fun and you grew and learned so much.  You are the smartest and funniest little girl! You keep us laughing every day!  I don't know what me and daddy did to entertain ourselves before you came along. You amaze us each day at how smart you are.  This year you learned to spell AND write your name, you learned to count to 100, you learned the city, state and country we live in, you excelled in gymnastics and so much more. You are so bright and your memory is crazy.  You are inquisitive and curious about everything.  I think the thing I love most about you is your kind heart.  You are the sweetest and most caring little girl.  You are always polite and always concerned about others.  At your cousin's birthday party over the summer, another little girl was crying in the corner and you went up to her and offered her some of your goody bag candy to make her feel better.  At just three and a half, you cared enough to want to help a stranger.  Those small gestures show your true loving spirit.

It's hard for me to call you a little girl now and no longer a baby, but watching you grow into such an amazing girl is the best experience!  Mommy and daddy love you so much! Happy birthday 4th baby girl!

Christmas 2011 Recap

All of the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over.  We had a busy, busy Christmas this year!  Our festivities started Christmas Eve afternoon and lasted all the way through Christmas night.  I know I've said it before, but Christmas through the eyes of a child is the best! Alannah was very much into Christmas this year.  She was constantly saying "Happy Holidays!".  She is the sweetest girl! Here is our Christmas recap:
