Mom & Baby Astrology....Just for fun!

I found this at Parents.com. The personality overview is SO Alannah!

Leo Mom & Aquarius Baby
You'll know you've met your match when you bring home your Aquarius bundle of joy! During infancy, this friendly baby will express curiosity with focused looks. Once the talking starts, watch out! This child will question everything -- especially your authority. You'll have to establish boundaries, and that can be tricky business. If you come across as too restrictive, little Aquarius could rebel even more. The best way to approach this relationship is to give baby a lot of space on some issues while making her toe the line on others. Aquarius always wants freedom of choice. Solution: decide what YOU want from your child -- and see that she chooses that option. There are a number of ways to do this. One is to appeal to your Aquarian's need to be different from everybody else. Want to make the brussels sprouts on your toddler's plate disappear? Confess that most folks don't dig 'em. Get the picture?

Baby
Aquarius - The Water Bearer
Jan. 20-Feb. 18Aquarian babies are natural rebels who like to do things their own way. Get lots of toys to keep your child from becoming restless during tummy time, and lock those cabinets early. Give her the chance to crawl freely on grassy lawns and toddle around the playground. Embrace her discoveries by letting her collect the rocks and other little treasures she finds. Support her individuality by allowing her to decide which outfit she wants to wear or which stuffed animal she wants to sleep with. And introduce new toys, books, and games regularly: Kids born under this sign are bright and often develop ahead of schedule.

Mom
Leo - The Lion
July 23-August 22Your deep emotional generosity is a great gift to your child. Leos make proud, bold, and determined mamas; your big heart and protective nature will help ensure that your child knows he is well loved. Leo moms are also highly creative, so make sure to explore the arts with your child from an early age -- this is a surefire way for the two of you to bond. Go to museums, take a craft class, do a messy art project together at home. One thing for Leo Moms to keep in mind is that your larger-than-life personality and natural flare for the dramatic can sometimes overshadow your child. Make sure you give your babe plenty of time in the spotlight, and appreciate him for the unique creature he is.

Non Sick, Sick Day

I stayed home from work yesterday for two reasons.

Reason #1 - Miss Alannah has decided she doesn't like sleeping anymore. She has four teeth coming in so I'm hoping (really hoping) that that is the reason and it will pass. For the past 3 nights, she wakes up between 3am and 4am and I must hold her while she sleeps. Obviously this is not a problem on the weekends, but yesterday it was. She would fall back asleep and I would try to put her in her crib and she would scream. There was no way for me to take a shower and get ready yesterday morning. I took my dirty and exhausted self back to bed and slept with my baby on my chest. This morning she did the same thing, but I had to get ready so she was awake at 5:30am. I hope they're having fun with her at daycare today :)

Reason #2 - Missy had an accident on Sunday. She slipped an fell on the wet concrete and really hurt herself. My dad and I took her to the vet thinking we would not be bringing her home. She did get to come home but she is still in bad conidtion. We'll see what the week holds. I hope my poor (13-year-old) puppy gets better soon!

Here are some pics I took with my cell phone at lunch time yesterday:
